Biography
Anastasia Cardona is a California-based Abstract Artist whose work is influenced by the natural world. Both the surrounding external landscape and the internal realm of emotions act as catalysts. She expresses herself through the use of color, form and brush strokes.
A Chicago native, Anastasia felt the pull of the California sun and embarked on a cross country move. She was immediately inspired by the rocks, cliffs, sands and mountains of the California landscape. She lets the region influence her brushstrokes, shapes and intentions.
Anastasia Cardona graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Art from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2001. She was a National Board Certified Visual Arts teacher who taught high school students for 10 years. She launched her professional artist career in November 2024.
